Egyptian children’s songs that inspire learning, creativity, and joyful fun safely.

Who We Are?

We’re a team of creatives and parents on a mission to help Arab immigrant families in the USA, the UK, and European countries raise English‑speaking kids who don’t yet speak Arabic but can learn to understand and speak Egyptian Arabic (Masri) with confidence. Our songs and stories are made for children growing up in non‑Arabic‑speaking countries, so Masri feels natural at home and keeps them connected to their roots.

Mission

To make Egyptian Arabic joyful and easy for kids growing up outside Arabic‑speaking countries, so they can understand, respond, and use it naturally at home through songs, stories, and simple lessons.

We help families living abroad turn everyday moments into Masri practice—making Arabic feel familiar, confidence‑building, and fun from the very first video.

Vision

A world where kids ages 2–7, no matter where they live, grow up hearing and speaking Egyptian Arabic at home with confidence.

We envision families raising English‑speaking kids who understand, respond, and love Egyptian Arabic so heritage stays alive through everyday moments, not formal lessons.

Brand Promise

Fun, short, repeatable songs and stories that fit real life—made for kids ages 2–7.
A new video every week to keep motivation high and learning consistent.

Our Story

From Struggle to Solution

Like many Arab families living abroad, we faced a challenge: how do we help our children connect with Arabic when everything around them is in English? We watched as kids resisted learning, finding the language difficult and disconnected from their daily lives.

But we believed it didn’t have to be this way.

That’s when Shatara Kids was born—out of love, determination, and a deep belief that learning Arabic could be fun. We started creating songs, stories, and characters that brought the language to life. We watched children light up as they sang along, repeated phrases, and actually enjoyed learning.

What began as a solution for our own family quickly became a mission for families everywhere. Today, over 26,000 families around the world trust Shatara Kids to help their children discover the joy of Egyptian Arabic.

Why "Shatara"?

Because we believe every child is clever (shaater/shatara) in their own way—and with the right approach, learning Arabic becomes an adventure, not an obstacle.
